The Complete Business Model
This is the first draft of the final form of the Complete Business Model for Biosulf International.
I am working an Excel Spread sheet to show, dynamically, the potential earnings of a Study Director -- it is here in preliminary form
Click HERE to learn how to use the Excel Spread sheet.
Biosulf Is Available To All -- Internationally
- Any person on this planet is free to purchase Biosulf. It will be sold only in one pound (455 Gm) jars. This freedom to purchase Biosulf is reasonably restricted, at first, to those who can find a way to access one of the web sites, place an order with a credit card which pays in US dollars -- and for shipment from the Vibrant Life warehouse in California.
- There may be an early warehouse/shipping arrangement from India and eventually there will be many possible purchase locations and methods.
- This description of the business model does not particularly cover long range plans -- but only what is expected to be in place currently and the immediate future.
Retail Price
- The retail price is US$70 per jar and the standard volume discounts are in effect. One place from which an immediate purchase can be made and these volume dismounts are shown is HERE.
- Individuals are free to purchase Biosulf at the above prices for their personal consumption or for resale to others -- without restriction.
- We do not anticipate ever selling Biosulf in bulk containers.
Eligibility To Join A Study Group
- Once a person has purchased a minimum of eight jars of Biosulf from Vibrant Life (not from some other source, including NOT from a Study Group Member) that person is then eligible to apply for membership in an organic sulfur study group.
- The eight jar minimum helps us ensure that those who join a study group have already tried Biosulf and know what it is like -- and presumably are then willing to use it regularly as required to maintain membership in a study group.
- This minimum also allows the person to find out what types of results he is likely to get with Biosulf.
- Eight jars would usually be an eight-month supply and most people should get spectacular changes within 8 months.
- This initial purchase also allows the person to learn more about study groups, select one, if there is a choice, and decide that he wants to be in one.
- Initially there is only one Study Group -- eventually there will be many and some arrangement for allowing a person to join one of his choice.
- This initial purchase can be one jar at a time, or all eight jars at one time -- using whatever volume discounts apply to each purchase.
Application To Join A Group
- The person always has a choice to apply for membership to any existing Biosulf study group -- to leave one and go to another as his choice.
- A person who is in one Study Group may have accumulated some number of people he has recruited into that Study Group. If he leaves some Study Group to join another, he does not take with him his accumulated group of recruited Members.
- A person who leaves some Study Group would not be eligible for any special discounts in the new Study Group, other than what all new Members get.
- It is however, also up to the Study Director to accept a new member, or not, his choice.
- Different study groups may have different criteria for membership At present there is only one study group -- it does not have any special membership requirements.
Application for membership in ANY study group requires at least one electronic image of the person's eyes -- from temple to temple -- of a quality that can be published on a web page and analyzed by the study Director.
- In addition to that at least one photo image, the prospective new member must write a description of an "unwanted condition" about which he will provide regular reports for publishing on this web site on change.
- Initially, probably all reports will be published, but when there are thousands of Members in many Study Groups a different publishing arrangement will be made.
- Since each Member will have his own personal web page as part of one of the several web sites we anticipate, as soon as we can arrange a reasonably automatic method, monthly reports will be expected from each Member and those, sent by eMail should be capable of being added to that Member's personal web page.
- Study Directors will screen these reports to feature those that will be most useful for the purposes of the Study, so that these featured items will show up in a prominent part of some particular web site.
- The Study groups Director is not allowed to diagnose or prescribe, nor does a Study Director offer advice on treatment or cure of any unwanted condition. The Study Director's job is to keep track of and record the observations of the members and to publish those for others to read.
- It will be up to each Study Director to set the criteria for communication between himself and a Member. It is anticipated that a Study Director would respond to not more than one eMail message per month.
- Study Directors, however, can establish fees for more frequent eMail and for telephone communications which Members may want to pay him for directly.
- On the origination of a Study Director, he may designate any number of Assistant Study Directors to help gather information and maintain a lower level of communication with Members than would be possible with the Study Director.
- This "origination" by a Study Director can be, if he wishes, to share some of his weekly fees, paid by Vibrant Life on the basis of sales to Members in a group. In such cases, once set up, the Assistant Study Director could receive a weekly payment based on the weekly sales in his group.
- These published reports are not intended to suggest that any usage or result can or should be expected by anyone else.
- A person applying for membership in a study group must provide his real name and address to the Study Director, but it is perfectly OK for the published information to use a fictitious name and address. The Study Director will honor the privacy of members and never reveal actual names or personal information that could be used to identify a person.
- Any Member, however, may also use his real name and include his email address as part of his published report.
Annual Membership Requirement
- Once a person has been accepted as a member of a Study Group he must purchase a minimum of 12 jars (12 pounds) of Biosulf per year -- failure to meet this purchase requirement would result in automatic removal from the Study Group.
- Automatic Removal will depend on what is practical with the database program we use.
- There will be a "grace period" and notification of reminder of purchase need.
- It is presumed that purchase of 12 pounds of Biosulf also means personal consumption of those 12 pounds -- one pound per month -- however, there is no automated method of verifying this consumption. It is up to the Study Director and Member to fulfill the purposes of the Study Group -- which include regular consumption of Biosulf and monthly reports on results of use to the Study Director.
- Study Group membership will be maintained by computer and the automated purchases made thorough computer entries by Vibrant Life or the Member directly in an internet shopping cart maintained by Vibrant Life.
- Vibrant Life is establishing the infrastructure for Study Groups -- Vibrant Life is developing a new shopping cart whose features are not yet all known and might affect some of these Study Group Policies.
- This new shopping cart includes a feature to keep track of people who refer people -- this being one of the main features of the Study Group.
Member Purchase Discounts
- A Study Group Member is eligible to purchase Biosulf at a special discount of 30% from the single jar price, whether he buys one jar or more.
- A Study Group Member is also eligible for further discounts on his personal purchases depending on the number of other people he has recruited into the Study Group and who maintain their "good standing" through required purchases and reports to the Study Director.
- A Study Group Member may take advantage of his 30% continuing discount, or any larger discount based on his recruiting activity to purchase Biosulf for others. (Purchases made "indirectly" by these others would not meet their requirements for their joining a Study Group, but they could, for instance, buy 8 jars direct from outside the Study Group and acquire more purchased by a Member.)
- If a Member wishes to purchase Biosulf at a larger discount than the regular 30% or whatever higher discount he may have earned, he can always take advantage of the volume discounts offered to the general public and make his purchase outside the Study Group.
- Such purchases would not contribute, however, to the fee paid to the Study Director.
- The "larger discounts" which can be earned by Members are based on recruiting others into the same Study Group. These larger discounts mean that the Member could then purchase a larger than 30% discount as long as that eligibility is in force.
- Recruit 10 new people into the Study Group, each new person would have to meet the requirements for joining the Study Group. This level of recruiting means the Member gets an extra 5%, or a total of 35% discount on his personal purchases.
- Recruit 50 new people -- get another 5%, making a total of 40% discount.
- Recruit 100 new people -- get another 5%, making a total of 45% discount.
- Recruit 500 new people -- get another 5%, making a total of 50% discount.
- There is no cash payment for recruiting -- only increased discounts for personal purchases. If the person does not, or cannot, use or buy Biosulf, there is no exchange for unused discount potential.
- Study Group Policies must be simple to enforce. Virtually all of this Business Model depends on computers and software programs for implementation. The Policies are based on our present understanding of what our computers and the expected software can do -- any error in knowing what the computers can do, or the software can do, might call for a change in Policy to ensure that enforcement of Policy does not become some manual or personal judgment thing.
-
These discounts are personal to a person whose identity must be established, and discounts cannot be transferred to any other person. These discounts cease when the person dies or leaves the Study Group.
- As mentioned above, if he leaves a group, he would have to recruit an entirely new number of Members to earn the 'recruiting' discount in his new group.
- Only when he has been approved as a new Study Director would a leaving person "take with him" any other Members (personally recruited and 'some' number of levels deep).
- Members will be given, at no charge, a web page on www.biosulf.org. This web page will contain his name and other personal information.
- This personal web page will also be related to a "members only" Web Section where Members can originate eMails to one another and to their Study Director free of spam concerns.
- This spam-free area is similar to what banks and other organizations use.
- Once you log into the members-only area, with your password, you can send a message to anyone else who is a member -- these messages do not travel through regular internet space where they can pick up viruses or be copied for spammers.
- You can send a private message to the Study Director and he can reply (to be viewed the protected space or to be received by you as a regular eMail.
- You would not expect to SEND a message to your Study Director by unprotected eMail -- only from within this members-only space.
- When and if there is sufficient interest in a Members Forum, it would, likewise be developed within this members-only space.
- His report of an "unwanted condition" will be published on this page and may also be published on a more centrally located web page.
- These personal pages would have a specific address such as http://www.biosulf.org/A/1/page1.htm or some such -- the Member could give out that web address freely to anyone -- the person would land, first, on the page of the referring person (and receive a "cookie" making a record of that referral) and could then be free to jump to any other page on the web site.
- Web pages of this type can be used by the Member to recruit new Members into the Group.
- This web page will place "cookie" on the browser of any first-time visitor to identify the person who referred him to that page.
- Thereafter, this person can visit any other pages of the web and for 90 days will be considered reserved as a prospective new member recruited by the referring Member.
- This prospective member would have to complete his signup into a Study Group within those 90 days
Becoming A Study Director
- Any person may aspire to become a Study Group Director
- A Study Director must first be a Member of some Study Group and have his own use, results and understanding of Biosulf.
- Study Group Directors must ultimately be approved by Vibrant Life, but the first recommendation must come from the Study Director.
- Generally a person will serve as an Assistant Study Director and be recommended, or not, by the Study Director for becoming a Study Director of his own Group.
- An aspiring Study Group Director must pay a "learning fee" of $500, all of which goes to the existing Study Director of the Group where he wishes to learn and train to become a Study Director.
- Study Directors are paid a commission based on the purchases of Biosulf by Members in their group.
- That commission is currently set at 10% of the amount of sales to all Members in that group.
- The 10% commission rate is preliminary and not final.
- There must be a harmonious exchange amongst all the components of this entire Business Model. The commission for Study Directors, for instance, could be increased by simply reducing discounts for Members, or increasing price. These variables must all be set to not only harmonize but maximize benefits. The primary benefit must be to Members -- and the maximum international number of Members that can be achieved with a particular Business Model.
- There are no other types of commissions or fees paid to any Member -- only discounts on their own purchases or commissions to the Study Director.
- When and as a Study Director recommends that one of his Members, or one of his Assistant Study Directors is ready to be a Study Director of his own group, that person would "take with him" whatever group of Members he may have personally recruited, and any they recruited.
- There is an "MLM concept" called "downline." Although this Study Group gives credit for recruiting, that credit is only "one level deep." In other words, if John recruits Bill, and Bill recruits Mary, John does not benefit from Mary's Membership as would usually be true for any MLM activity.
- "Downline" structures require very sophisticated computer records and programs.
- It is yet to be determined for this Business Model whether we will have an EASY method of keeping track of 'downlines' amongst Members. IF IF it is easy to do, we may have a person leaving a group to become a new Study Director "take with him" more then just his personally recruited Members. No Study Director or prospective Study Director should assume any standard on 'how many levels deep' he would "lose" when he sees one of his Members leave to become a new Study Director.
- Ask
- But, the "override" commission would mean that the old Study Director would gain commissions on whatever number of people leave his group in this way.
- This would be subject, always to the freedom any Member has of leaving a group to join another. There will be more details on this rule.
- The Study Director could be "losing" a Member with a substantial personal group of Members, thus losing income. To compensate for this the Study Director would get an "override" commission of 5% of the new groups sales on a permanent basis.
- This means that Vibrant Life will be paying some 15% of all sales value to all Members in any group to one or another Study Directors.
- Study Directors may be given sub-domains such as "http://JohnJones.biosulf.org" for their group. This is referred to as a "sub-domain" and can have a different server, webmaster and physical location for www.biosulf.org .
- Vibrant Life is the registered owner of www.biosulf.org, www.biosulf.com and www.biosulf.net -- these names and others are available for any good use.
- There can also be other cooperative arrangements with web sites owned by Study Directors or even Members.
- These financial arrangements are published in this preliminary level, not yet having been reviewed by the several principals whose opinions are yet to be heard.
- One further change related to this would be for new Members recruited directly by Vibrant Life, rather than by other Members. Members recruited because of Vibrant Life web sites and marketing will be identified and Study Director commissions will be reduced for any such Members in their group.
- Vibrant Life WILL be the source of the personal web pages given each Member, and of the thousands of web pages about Biosulf -- when these are used by a Member to recruit a new Member that would NOT be a "Vibrant Life Recruited Member."
- But, VL will also have its own marketing campaigns, not yet defined. Such may include promotion of purchase of Biosulf AND Membership in some Study Group -- as a VL activity. Any such could then include VL Recruited Members.
- The name Biosulf is a registered Trademark in India.
- This description of the Business Model is obviously lengthy and legalistic == there will be simplified and shortened versions for quick reference, but this page, or some revision of this page would be the Official set of rules for Membership and Study Director guidance.
