Biosulf could be called "Biologic Sulfur" since it is an evolved and ultra-purified form of Methyl Sulfonyl Methane, usually referred to as "MSM" also often referred to as "organic sulfur."
MSM has been around for decades as an safe, effective pain relief for muscle, joint and other pain of all kinds -- probably best known for relieving the pain of arthritis without any of the side effects of the typical drugs used to kill pain. In this use, Biosulf continues the fine results of MSM and brings about the same or better levels of pain relief as any "regular" MSM.
The method of manufacturing MSM, using DMSO as the raw material, is well known and not mysterious. DMSO is heated so that each molecule of DMSO absorbs one extra atom of oxygen, turning the material from liquid DMSO to solid crystals of MSM, with the added oxygen content, and in the form of a white powder or transparent crystal.
The MSM and Biosulf sold by Vibrant Life in the US and other countries is made by its partner in India. The MSM made in India, sold by Vibrant Life for some 10 years was made in what Dr. Ayyangar, in India, thought was just the obvious honest way to manufacture this substance. It has turned out, as a considerable surprise to all concerned that the Indian MSM was far more pure than any of the MSM being made in the US -- simply because convenience took precedence over purity for the other manufacturers. The MSM sold in the US, except for Vibrant Life MSM, has impurities that prevent the MSM crystal from forming at all.

Many of the remarkable characteristics of MSM are NOT caused by its chemical content, but by something quite separate -- the perfection of the crystalline form of the MSM when a solution of MSM and water is allowed to dry. If the substance used to make a crystal has impurities, it will generally NOT make a crystal -- this is the case of all MSM sold in the US -- other than by Vibrant Life.
| If a solution remains undisturbed as it is cooled, it often passes the point at which it would normally crystallize, reaching a supercooled state. The same is true for a solution containing a maximum amount of solute; if it assimilates additional solute, it is termed supersaturated. You can test this yourself -- simply take any of Vibrant Life's MSM (either bulk or in capsules) mix it in water (the proportions are not at all critical -- for instance a few ounces of water and a teaspoon or two of MSM -- dissolved in the water -- it need not all dissolve). Mix this and then let the container sit for some days until the water evaporates. The bottom of the container will have the MSM crystals -- quite easy to see.
The crystals above are very large compared with what you are likely to get with your home test in a glass of water.
Try the same test with any other brand of MSM and you will see nothing but mud in the bottom of the container.
Dr. Ayyangar, in India, the owner of the MSM factory, just figured that everyone else was being careful about purity, as he was, and that all MSM should test to be good and pure, like his.
Big surprise in early 2007 to find that the MSM made in India is pure and will allow crystals to form, while other brands of MSM do not allow crystals to form.
At first those impurities in other brands did not seem so significant -- even with the impurities MSM brings about effective pain relief.
However, the early pioneers in the discovery and research of DMSO and MSM had seen remarkable results well beyond relief of pain and these results were found with the Indian MSM, but not with any other of the popular US brands.
Vibrant Life and its partner company in India, Emmessar Biotech & Nutrition Ltd., then set out to explore more of the remarkable qualities of their own MSM, with the intention of testing even high levels of purity that might be attained.
These higher levels were no longer in the form of changes in the chemical nature of the substance, but with the nature of the crystals that could be formed (crystal formation varies even with the same chemical formula), and with electrical and vibrational aspects of the crystal -- science well beyond current chemistry or medical drug manufacture.

The early researchers in DMSO and MSM found that MSM would "heal" scar tissue. This was a superficial observation compared to the true miracles that were taking place not much to be seen.
We found that early claims of results of using some of the original forms of MSM (these early forms were quite pure compared with the what the lazy manufacturing processes later produced) were spectacular claims of regeneration of cells and tissue.
Dr. Ayyangar then engaged in intensive further research and developed TWO NEW Forms of MSM.
The term "MSM" can no longer be applied since both these substances were not only new but quite different from what had been called MSM. The manufacturing process is completely proprietary -- no other company will be able to "reverse engineer" Biosulf or figure out how to make it.

The first new substance is called "Preventive MSM," and it brings about cell regeneration. The explanation is below.
The second new substance is called "Biosulf" and was developed further from PMSM when it became clear that true cellular regeneration cannot take place when the cells contain toxins that slow or prevent regeneration. Biosulf, then, promotes cellular regeneration but FIRST brings about a detoxification of those cells so that they can be regenerated.
Biosulf, then, is both a detoxification and a regeneration substance -- it could be called "biologic sulfur. It could be called "organic sulfur" but it is so different from the simple meanings of those phrases that it needs it own category of substance -- Biosulf.
Dr. MSR Ayyangar is a practicing Ayurvedic Physician as well as a Doctor of Homeopathy in India and owns the factory that manufactures MSM, PMSM and Biosulf. His partner, Karl Loren, with Karl's wife Jean Ross, is the owner of Vibrant Life, the founder of the concept of "Anabiology" (restoration from a deathlike condition to a previous state of good health), the world's foremost authority on "oral chelation" and the marketing resource for Biosulf. Karl is also the man who cured his wife of deadly cancer of the esophagus -- his research in that area has contributed much to his understanding of how and why Biosulf does what it does.

Just as critically important as the research and proprietary technology that brought forth Biosulf is the business model that supports it -- the utilization of "study groups" made up of members who buy and use Biosulf, receiving advice from a Study Director who assists each Member, personally and individually to understand and use Biosulf to his best benefit. A Study Director, for instance, can advise on different doses of Biosulf for different situations, and provide other simple advice (not medical advice).
Members of these Study Groups send a report of an "unwanted health condition" to be published for anyone to read, and pledge to use Biosulf regularly and provide regular reports on the results of use and their progress toward resolving any unwanted condition.

A final part of the Biosulf experience is that it is never sold in bulk for others to package, but only and always in one pound jars from within an "Affiliate Program." Today there are still volcanoes erupting, some at the bottom of the sea -- they still spew out sulfur and now we know there are sulfur-eating microbes that never touch oxygen, but live quite nicely on sulfur, thank you.

While the sea is full of microorganisms that can and do live by eating rocks, it will surprise many that the soils USED to be the same way.
You remember the dirt of your childhood (if you are over 70) and how rich it was in earth worms, particularly when it rained. In fact the soils of our ancestors were filled with tiny micro-organisms, like worms but much smaller. They would take in rock (as an INORGAIC mineral) as food, and their waste product was that same rock but now magically transformed into an organic form -- the molecules got transformed -- alchemy!
When plants don't get the minerals, or when trees don't get those minerals, they catch fire from lightening of campfires far more easily. They die from insects. The plants die, but not to worry because we have chemicals that prevent them from burning, that prevent the fungus, that prevent just about everything INCLUDING life.

The lack of minerals in the soil is aggravated by those few years when the farming took them out, hurray, but there was nothing put back except chemicals -- and the worms are dead even if there are still some rocks around.

Heart Diseases in their various forms ALL have oxygen at their roots -- simply because of the obvious basic that WE are NOW low-temperature carbon-oxygen combustion entities. We Burn fuel -- which is all some form of carbon with oxygen, at a low burning temperature.
WE never lived by eating sulfur, but we may well still depend on sulfur in many more ways than have been recognized to restore our oxygen system just as it may have done some millions of years ago!
SULFUR ....The metabolic enhancement mechanism of DMSO (or MSM) is that of an exceptionally effective oxygen transport system. This system is made particularly effective by the feature that both DMSO and MSM are highly soluble in both oil and water. They are also small molecules that will diffuse rapidly. Thus, they both easily and rapidly diffuse through the hydrophilic cell cytoplasm as well as the hydrophobic cell membranes. They have no barriers. To my knowledge, we have no other molecules naturally occurring in our bodies quite like this. Oxygen transport is handled by passing it between different molecules that are hydrophilic in the cytoplasm and hydrophobic in the cell membranes. The actual amount of carbon dioxide shown with these very, very precise studies varies from a very stable range of about 175 PPM over a period of some 1800 years from the year 1000 to 1830.

After 1830 the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere increased dramatically to where it is now, at about 320, or so, PPM. This virtual doubling in 150 years, compared to almost no change for 1800 years may have dramatic consequences on health. (source)
The theme of this page is simple: Oxygen is the breath of life. Without oxygen for even a few minutes we die yet breathing the air in many places is a risky business.
My wife, Jean Ross, developed deadly cancer of the esophagus in 2004. She took the (bad) advice of a medical doctor we trusted and accepted both radiation and chemotherapy. Biosulf transports oxygen across the membrane of cell walls. There is virtually no other substance that does this -- certainly no drug, no vitamin, and, as I'll write later, our food supply has been sabotaged so that it no longer supplies organic sulfur!
Even those who claim to sell organic sulfur have such impurities in their product so as to defeat this vital, if little known, function -- no oxygen is transported. (Vibrant Life MSM has never had these impurities, but Biosulf is much more effective in this regard than "regular MSM.")
Bio Sulf is "organic sulfur." There is no claim on any of these pages that SULFUR can treat or cure any disease. But there is now abundant evidence that Biosulf increases the oxygen in your cells in a way that has not been possible from any other substance.

Something very real to us humans is death, and in the modern era it is death from heart disease and cancer that causes some 80% of all death. Oxygen, or lack of it, is at the root of both of these health problems.
Heart disease, by definition, is a failure of the heart to pump blood containing oxygen to the brain and body. Strokes are nothing more than a sudden interruption of oxygen to the brain.
Putting more oxygen into cells with Biosulf would not prevent a heart failure from causing death.
Like many health issues, however, the heart failure is preceded by other body failures which may be preventable -- given adequate oxygen in the cells.
Heart disease is the number one killer in the Western World. Yet, it is now accepted that cells in the heart are capable of regeneration -- being done ALL THE TIME EVEN NOW, eve
n if not enough to prevent the death rate we all know about. If there were more oxygen in those cells, they could regenerate more easily and, who knows, this could be the prevention of heart disease.

Even nerves are capable of regeneration and although oxygen is never mentioned as necessary, we are still dealing with a human body where life itself, as well as growth and regeneration require oxygen inside the cell.
Could there be a primordial matrix that calls for sulfur to enable oxygen to be infused into cells that need it for regeneration? After all, how is birth of a planet much different from birth of a human, or regeneration of a stomach?

The researcher and developer of Biosulf is Dr. Ayyangar, Mumbai, India. Dr. Ayyangar is a scholar of the Veda. He and I met over an intense philosophical exchange of views about the Veda and the Ayurvedic concepts of health.
Dr. Ayyangar is a Ayurvedic Physician as well as a Homeopathic Doctor, practicing, still, while operating his factory making Biosulf and other products. He both speaks and reads the language of the Veda -- Sanskrit.
Dr. Ayyangar, drawing on his Vedic knowledge, has been fond of using the term "matrix" with me -- and I found it difficult for this Western-trained mind to grasp. Dr. Ayyangar has joined with me to develop the science that evolves from these pages -- and has 
provided his philosophical view of "matrix" here. Understanding Dr. Ayyangar's concept is the key to understanding Biosulf. Short of full understanding, you can consider the simple claim that Biosulf promotes the regeneration of cells, tissues and organs by transporting oxygen across the membrane of those cells -- oxygen which is in short supply for many reasons.
Your DNA is the blueprint that is the matrix for cells, organs, life itself -- but without the original spark of life -- the substance that came before oxygen, the cells contain such impurities that the REFORMATION OF THE MATRIX OF LIFE produces mud, just like impure sulfur will not crystallize into sulfur -- but into mud.
You carry within you the perfection God put there == every cell carries that perfection in the form of DNA. More than sulfur and even more than oxygen is needed for life. Just as the matrix of sulfur survives going into solution, drying and re crystallization, the matrix of life survives, but UNLIKE sulfur, life is alive and can die. When the person dies, the DNA is still there -- the oxygen is still there -- why does not the DNA restore life?
Because there is a spiritual aspect to life -- not carried by sulfur and not created by oxygen. Drugs and substances do not create life, generally only hinder the function of the DNA, prevent the matrix from restoration to health.

That is, I look and say it is a poison. You look and say it is a beverage. We have observed the same "thing" BUT have different understandings -=- possibly different definitions for what we each see. Possibly 100 others would look and say it is a drink, possibly those 100 would say it is sugar and flavor.
Society is built on common agreement of definitions and perceptions, but people can also share common delusions and "see" a healthy drink when it is actually a toxin, but then who is to judge? society? or the one person whose perception is sacrosanct. The elite try to force their reality on us -- I do not. Reason, by itself, cannot often change a mental delusion, Agreement on definitions generally allow easier change in understandings.

- Detoxification of the physical body is essential for restoration & maintenance of health - as we today live in a highly toxic environment created by industrialization & greedy commercial exploitation of available assets on earth. As vital as detoxification is for true regeneration to occur, it is possible to bypass the detox step and go directly to the regeneration step with Preventive MSM. The regeneration will also detox, but at a much slower and more gentle rate - also the benefits of regeneration will be delayed.
